Liminal thinking

So, where did the brand name Liminus come from?  It's personal...

The word "liminal" describes a transition point and can be applied to places in nature, architecture, moods, life stages and ways of thinking.  Starting a new perfume brand is without question one of the major transition points in my life (and very unexpected!).  I'm stepping away from a long career in environment roles to find more creativity and connection through my artisan perfume practice.  The brand name Liminus was born from this shift in my life.

Perfume is a wonderful way to celebrate and recognise transition points.  The right perfume can solidify new memories, shift emotion and recall past adventures.  Birthdays, seasons, travel,  ceremonies and simple daily pleasures are all liminal moments we can celebrate.  Experiment with shifting your mood through scent.  Take a moment to enjoy the sunrise, the sunset or time with friends. 

I hope Liminus will add joy to your moments of transition and scent your adventures.
