Liminus x Brand Tasmania behind the scenes on a photoshoot

Do you love a peek behind the scenes?
I know I do!
Here's proof of how amazing professional photographers are with a few candid shots from my photoshoot with Brand Tasmania.

Jess Oakenfell's images are gorgeous and I loved watching a pro do her thing.

Huge thanks to Fransina from Brand Tasmania for making this shoot happen and for sharing her photos of the photos! I also wanted to share my top tips if you are preparing for your own photoshoot:
1. Talk to a pro before your shoot - this is my top tip. You could chat with your designer, a business buddy or photographer. Find someone who has professional experience and knows you and your brand. Tailored advice is gold. They will know your style and can give some specific suggestions to make the most of your shoot (think lighting, location, styling, props etc).
2. If you will hold or gesture towards your product at any stage of the shoot, get a manicure! I'm so pleased I did.
3. Allow yourself more time than you think you need to set up. Really! I thought I was organised, but all the little details take a long time to get in pace - if you have a moment of quiet calm before the shoot then it's a huge bonus...I did not mange this for myself ;)
4. Have fun- avoid stripes - did you know that stripes can sometimes create a distracting moiré pattern effect, particularly with fine or closely spaced stripes? This happens when the pattern interacts with the camera's sensor, creating wavy lines or a shimmering effect.
If you have any tips to share with me (I'm sure I'll be doing this again one day), I'd love you to leave them in comments below.
