Acknowledgement of Country

Liminus acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Traditional Custodians of Country and recognises their continuing connection to land, sea, sky, culture and community. I pay our respects to Elders past and present.

I particularly acknowledge the Palawa/Pakana people, the Traditional Custodians of the unceeded land upon which I live and work Lutruwita/Tasmania. I honour their traditional knowledge, care for country and a deep spiritual connection that has endured since the beginning of time.

Liminus perfume is made on the lands of the Mumirimina (mu-mee-ree-mee-nah) of the Oyster Bay Nation.  They were the first to understand the medicinal and spiritual uses of plants on this land.

If you would like to learn more about the practice of acknowledging country in Australian, I suggest the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Studies.
