Thamnic: Your chance to wear a rainforest

Bushwalks were a big part of my childhood, and the scent memories of mossy glades and tree ferns have stayed with me for life.
Tasmania's cool temperate rainforests are among the world's oldest. Species can be traced back in time over 60 million years of evolution. When I step into these Tasmanian rainforests as an adult, the stillness and cool earthy scent makes me pause. As a child, this rich and fascinating forest felt otherworldly. I was surrounded by a fairy kingdom with every moss and fungi magically connected and glistening with water.
The creation of Thamnic was inspired by my early wanderings in Tasmanian Temperate Rainforests. It is a genderless and and grounded perfume at home in the forest. It evokes the cool mossy glades, fern fringed streams and rich spicy undergrowth that i remember walking through at child height. It's a perfect gift for anyone who appreciates the tranquility and peace of Tasmania's ancient forests.
I chose the name "Thamnic" because it's the botanical term for one very specific temperate rainforest type: a closed canopy with a distinct understory where you might find Tasmanian laurels, wirewood, native plum and climbing heath. I also like the fact that the name is a subtle nod to my time at the University of Tasmania - one of the most memorable parts of my Botany course was the field collection and preparation of a folio of Tasmanian ferns.
