One of the most creative things I’ve done all year…exploring how olfactory design can be woven alongside the visible
Rosanagh May and I created a limited-edition series that explores the emotional landscape of surprise. We focused on awe, confusion, eagerness, astonishment and perplexity. For these emotions Rosanagh chose a song which became my soundtrack as I composed each scent. Song lyrics were added to illustrations on the five scented vessels.
The lyrics are a way of honouring the tension between restraint and longing. A suspended, electric moment—eager, tender, and full of possibility…where desire sharpens the senses and eagerness becomes its own kind of intimacy.
Of the five scents created, only Eager is designed for wearing…

Rose absolute, Labdanum, Frankincense and Vanillin combine.

Amphorae for perfume
In addition to this main vessel, Rosanagh made 14 beautiful amphorae’s, intended to be worn against your chest, carrying the scent. Storied materials that cast a dusty veil, desire and romance, a wearable memento mori. Perfume and ceramics have been combined for thousands of years.
