This year I won bronze in the 2024 Clean and Conscious Awards!
I entered Alba and was delighted to be listed as a finalist in May. The inspiration for Alba was the strong and resilient women in my life - so this win feels like a tribute to those amazing and supportive women.
The award judges had some lovely things to say about Alba:
"This perfume is unique, with a clever design that twists like a pen. The fragrance for me strikes a balance between woody and floral... The woody notes remind me of songs with forest themes, especially Handel’s “wherever you walk, cool gales shall fan the glade/trees where you sit shall crowd into a shade”. It’s a great example of a community-lead and community-powered brand that features local Tasmanian product and is supported by Tasmanian recognition. In an industry that extracts a lot of natural resources for a little parcel of fragrance, this business is conscious of the environmental impacts and tries to strike a balance with transparency and efforts with land conservancy."

"What I love about Liminus Alba perfume is its captivating fragrance that blends sophistication with a touch of uniqueness. The scent lingers beautifully throughout the day without being overpowering, making it perfect for both casual and special occasions. I appreciate how the perfume evolves subtly over time, revealing different notes that add depth and character. The packaging is also elegant and complements the luxurious experience of using the perfume. Luminus exemplifies excellence with its strong commitment to ethics and sustainability. Based in Tasmania, Australia, they handcraft their products in small batches, prioritising local and sustainable ingredients sourced through ethical practices."

"The outside packaging absolutely got my attention and I was excited to see what was inside! A gorgeous and unique scent without the nasties in a compact bottle so it fits perfectly in my handbag. This brand is nailing ethical, small batch production I loved reading about how it is sourced from local farmers in Tasmania where the supply chain can be accounted for. All areas have been considered from the packaging to the ingredients to the charity efforts – love!!"
